Director of Corporate/Commercialization Operations

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Corporate Commercialization will:

• Work with external and internal advisors to develop and implement corporate strategy
• Partner with the sales team to generate account development plans, and execute
• Drive internal corporate structure and internal business structure
• Identify potential M&A targets
• Negotiate contracts with customers and suppliers
• Shape & drive strategy for the global business development
• Drive commercial arrangements with external partners
• Understand current and potential customers’ priorities & needs and develop business solutions to drive sales growth
• Lead international operating structure for offshore operations and sales

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The right candidate will be a dynamic self-starter with experience in developing new business. Your credentials ideally include:

• Experience working in chemical processing or oil and gas
• Experience working with technical sales and multi-national technology businesses
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or relevant technical field (i.e. chemistry or engineering) required, MBA degree is a plus
• Good listening skills and ability to understand customers' needs
• The ability to travel globally
• 10+ years' proven success with growing business in the chemical industry, ideally in the mining segment
• Strong analytical skills
• Contacts in South America a plus
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and external and internal teams
