Job Description

About the Role

We are searching for an HR/Recruiter Assistant who wants to help us grow our workforce. The HR/Recruiter Assistant is responsible for completing and coordinating administrative and recruiting-related tasks to support our team members and Techcyte.

We are passionate about making a difference in the medical field by creating tools to help pathologists receive accurate results faster, which helps patients receive the treatment they need. This position is part-time with an estimated 12-18 hours per week.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with employment compliance in multiple states
  • Assist with open enrollment and employee benefits administration
  • Work with hiring managers to determine applicant eligibility
  • Run reports to retrieve information needed from databases
  • Assist in the development and/or revision of company policies as needed
  • Support the HR Manager with maintaining employee records
  • Assist with the recruitment process by reviewing, screening, scheduling, communicating with the applicant, and other tasks as assigned


Skills

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in data entry
  • Experience with HRIS (preferably BambooHR) or similar software
  • Experience with Google suite or the ability to learn quickly
  • Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with a broad range of people
  • Have basic math skills and are comfortable with spreadsheets


Education/Experience

  • Some knowledge of employment law preferred; we have employees in multiple states
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field; or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 1 year experience as an HR Assistant, Recruiting Assistant, or Assistant

Work from Home

While we do have offices available for use, the majority of our workforce spends most, if not all, of their time working from the comfort of their home. Every team member has a daily standup meeting to touch base with their team and a monthly all hands meeting for the whole company to get updates. Additional meetings are created as needed, and the majority are impromptu.
