Job Description

This hybrid/remote position offers a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part of our organization, supporting various HR functions under the guidance of our Human Resources Director.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience, Preferred.
3+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
Strong Employee Relations Experience Required.
Certifications for Human Resource Professionals (PHR, SPHR) preferred.
Proficiency in database software, email systems, and office software.
Advanced knowledge of employment law.

Core Responsibilities
Provide expert guidance on employment-related issues (such as ADA, FMLA, FLSA, harassment, discrimination, diversity, corrective action, and progressive discipline) to our operational leaders.
Facilitate employee access to ADA, FMLA, and other necessary paperwork.
Collaborate with management to enhance the organization's performance management process through coaching, education, and feedback.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a positive employee relations culture.
Anticipate and strategize for long-term human resource needs in collaboration with business management.
Assist in the development of personnel policies, procedures, and workforce goals.
Ensure equitable and consistent administration of company policies within your area of responsibility.
Effectively communicate and implement policy changes as necessary.
Manage complex employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, termination assessments, and exit interviews.
Provide HR support for safety programs, initiatives, and processes, including workers' compensation coordination and return-to-work efforts.
Offer guidance and support to employees, facilitate communication, and mediate conflicts affecting employee engagement.
Conduct sensitive employee relations investigations.
Oversee the administration of all Leave of Absence programs, including transitional work and accommodation requests.
Lead Open Enrollment And Other Benefits-related Programs As Needed.
Deliver employee and supervisor training, covering benefits, policies, procedures, and the prevention of harassment and discrimination.
Ensure accurate and timely onboarding, including data entry in HR information systems and company software systems.
Conduct audits and compliance checks as requested, including verification of audit reports, commission reports, and payroll information.
Maintain employee records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Assist in managing and executing bonus plans, merit processes, and routine/special request reports.
Contribute to the annual budget planning process as required.
Recruit and staff positions from both internal and external sources.
Travel to assigned locations as needed.
Perform other tasks as directed.
