The primary objectives and responsibilities of a PeopleOps Generalist are broken down into: Employee Journey, Compliance, Performance and Payroll. An overview has been provided below:

Employee Journey

• Lead and continuously evolve the new hire orientation and onboarding process through analysing feedback and streamlining experiences for new hires. Manage onboarding logistics, new hire communications and internal updates;
• Manage employee offboarding process including BambooHR, communication with employee and exit interviews;
• Assist with involuntary separations by creating severance agreements and exit packages according to company policy;
• Provide new joiners with resources and internal tools to ensure they are set-up for success on their first day, including company intranet links, help-documents and how-to resources;
• Set up and manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee processes, and liaise with DevOps.

Compliance

• Work with HR partners to review employee handbooks annually to ensure they are up to date; send to all staff via BambooHR for electronic signature.
• Create and maintain personnel records using electronic file system, exporting data reports and managing the integration of BambooHR with other systems;
• Be the Guru of BambooHR; input new hire information, assign policies and set access levels, create and maintain request forms and signature documents ensuring all information is accurate and kept up-to-date;
• Facilitate the coordination of training and development initiatives/programs as directed, liaising with external parties, collating participant lists and managing internal communications, ensuring that users are set up and aware of training modules that require completion;

Performance

• Be the point of contact for all employee relation enquiries, including redundancies and settlement agreements;
• Business partner with department heads to deliver exceptional HR performance, applying relevant HR best practices.

Payroll

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits, including health and dental, 401k, annual leave, and general employee personnel issues.
• Manage the quarterly bonus scheme;
• Review and submit US payroll, liaise with Lead PeopleOps Generalist and Insperity;

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Previous knowledge of BambooHR would be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of Office365, with excellent Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills;
• Extensive experience of working within a global HR role, providing support and advice to Business Leaders on all aspects of HR;
• Ability to identify problems and think pro-actively to make improvements;
• Ability to interact collaboratively with management, team members and internal departments when investigating HR issues and developing corrective action plans;
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to act quickly in a fast changing environment;
