Hr Generalist - Remote | Wfh

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for executing a variety of HR functions, with a primary focus on onboarding and managing new hires in the United States. The successful candidate will work closely with our global HR team (based in Singapore) to ensure consistency and alignment across all divisions of the organization.
Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires in the US, including pre-employment screening, orientation, and training.
Work closely with hiring managers to provide support in the recruitment process.
Coordinate with the global HR team to implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices across all divisions.
Assist in the administration of employee benefits, compensation, performance management, and employee relations.
Provide support in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Develop and implement programs to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Collaborate with the global HR team on special projects and initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records in the company's HRIS — currently BambooHR.
Manage and approve payroll for US-based employees.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a technology or music-related industry.
Strong knowledge of US employment laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local compliance requirements.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Proven experience in managing the onboarding process, employee relations, and performance management.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
Experience in a hybrid or remote work environment.
Familiarity with the music and technology industries.
