The HR Data Analyst I will support HR projects, programs and data/reporting requirements by utilizing existing applications and systems. The position will investigate issues and work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve. The position supports HR informational needs by modifying existing system configurations to meet changing organizational requirements.

This is a CONTRACT POSITION.
Your employment will be held by a third-party company of ENGIE’s choosing. Any offered contract role will not constitute an offer for nor guarantee of future employment with ENGIE.

- Houston (Hybrid)
What you’ll do:
- Support HR Data Team during quarterly Group Social Reporting with various data entry, reporting and data analysis tasks.
- Carry out system testing to deploy HCM recommended system changes and enhancements in conjunction with other HR Data Team members.
- Extract HR data and submit regulatory compliance reports including but not limited to: BLS, US Census Bureau, EEO-1, AAP, and other compliance related reports
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
- Document system processes related to the HR Data team for Knowledge Base
- Run routine reports and create ad hoc HR data report requests
- Analyze and understand HR data to provide clarity to the HR Team, and other business teams as needed.
- Complete data audits and routine maintenance to ensure the highest possible quality of data.
- Troubleshoot HCM system related issues in collaboration with internal subject matter experts and external consultants.
- Configure HCM foundational tables to meet business needs.
What you bring:
- Team oriented individual willing to adapt to a global fast paced and continuously improving organization.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships both within and outside of Human Resources.
- Self-starter with excellent time and task management skills.
- Experience building reports in ADP Custom Report, SuccessFactors Analytics, or other ad hoc reporting tools.
- Experience with HCM HR Core configuration (SuccessFactors, ADP Vantage preferred)
- Ability to communicate openly and effectively with internal and external customers managing expectations and timelines related to responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business or related discipline required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in Human Resources Information Systems.
- Experience with SharePoint preferred
