Job Description
The Aetna Medicare Healthy Outcomes Team conducts outreaches to our Medicare members to inspire and encourage healthy behaviors through innovative, compassionate, and empathetic telephonic communications. The goal of each outreach is to ensure that every member has a clear understanding of the available benefits that are afforded to them under their Medicare plan. The Manager of Healthcare Quality manages a team of quality staff who conduct regular reviews to ensure our members have the best experience and that our teams perform at the highest quality level possible.

Essential Functions:
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
  • Effectively identify staff and program trends and issues, offer solutions, hold individuals accountable, recognize/reward as appropriate, communication information from management to team and between peers and business partners
  • Supervise day to day operations including workloads, quality outcomes, and training to create and maintain a high performing team
  • Achieve quality operational objectives by monitoring, reviewing and enforcing policies and procedures and contributing to information analysis
  • Create and implement quality standards
  • Train and motivate colleagues to ensure quality standards are consistently met
  • Problem solve and think critically to meet staff needs
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Work/Communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Participate and lead in change efforts and departmental projects
  • Maintain staff and member confidentiality
  • Demonstrate Heart at Work behaviors in all aspects of the role

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 60,300
Maximum: 130,000

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications

3+ years health insurance managed care experience
2+ years working knowledge of Medicare STARS, member experience and clinical measures

  • Experience mentoring and leading others
  • Call center environment experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent data analyzing and review skills with attention to detail
  • Strong technical and computer skills
  • Ability to teach and mentor
