Hr Recruiter (Remote)

A nonprofit organization in New York City has a great Remote opportunity awaiting a new HR Recruiter. In this role, the HR Recruiter (Remote) will be responsible for identifying and recruiting individuals and teams for startup programs.

Responsibilities

The HR Recruiter (Remote) will:

• Schedule, organize, and conduct interviews
• Launch offer letters and guides candidates through the pre-boarding and onboarding process
• Verify employment professional reference on candidates hired
• Keep documentation of the recruitment process updated
• Participate in recruitment events, career fairs and hiring events to recruit talent and present suitable candidates to Hiring Managers
• Draft and post job listings on digital recruitment platforms.
• Perform other duties, as needed
• Maintain ongoing contact with candidates to ensure a smooth preemployment process
• Review resumes, conduct initial prescreening screening interviews, and assist with assessing & ranking prospective talent pools
• Communicate with applicants throughout the interview process

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Solid problem solving and time management skills
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Great interpersonal skills
• Experience with a basic HR functions
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Highly organized
• Working knowledge of HR Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Associate's Degree

Desired Skills:

• Experience in a Nonprofit role/setting
• Working knowledge of Ceridian DayForce ATS
