Job Description
Job Summary
Price Benowitz is seeking a full-time in-house remote recruiter to join their growing team in Washington, DC headquarters. This position is essential to sustaining the growth of the firm and is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for a place that has been continuously growing and expanding its practice areas. You will be recruiting for various levels of experience such as attorneys, paralegals, support staff, and accounting personnel.
Responsibilities And Duties
  • Support new hires onboarding
  • Develop sourcing strategies
  • Draft and supervise offer packages and welcome notices
  • Research and choose job advertising options
  • Schedule Interviews
  • Conduct phone and virtual interviews; schedule in-person interviews
  • Create weekly reports for the recruiting team
  • Maintain candidate profiles and status of recruitment activity and report activity levels regularly to management
  • Conduct reference check calls
  • Screen applicants
  • Update current and design new recruiting procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting issues and trends in the legal industry that have short and long-term implications on the business
  • Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations
  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
  • Maintain recruiting database and software
  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
  • Manage a heavy volume of inbound applicants
  • Supervise the recruiting team and report on its performance
  • Draft and monitor job postings
  • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners
  • Cultivate relationships and maintain close communication with candidates, colleagues, law school alumni groups, professional organizations, and external recruiters
Qualifications And Skills
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Good organizational, time management, customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of labor legislation
  • Ability to work well independently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2+ years of legal recruiting experience.
