About:
Our client is a dynamic startup with a significant footprint in the childcare industry in the United States. They are seeking a mission-driven, seasoned sales leader to join their team.
The Role:
As the Head of Sales, you will own the sales process, working closely with the sales department and cross-functionally with other teams to ensure strategies are in place for scalable growth. Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, considering the competitive landscape, market trends, and customer needs. Support the team to ensure that the sales strategy is achieved quarterly and exceeds our annual sales goal.
Goals: Set ambitious but achievable performance sales expectations for the team, ensuring each team member knows how to own their part of the business to achieve success. Measure performance against quarterly goals.
Sales Metrics: Oversee weekly and monthly discussions about sales metrics, including indicators for sales pipeline, sales activities, and sales execution.
Relationship-Building: Build and maintain key relationships with broker & consultant agencies, self-funded employer groups, and strategic partners. Identify new sales opportunities through your network, referral system, and direct market research.
Pipeline: Utilize Hubspot as your centralized CRM to manage individual and team pipelines. Manage weekly forecasting and pipeline reporting cadence and conduct a solid funnel call for each team you lead.
Market Trends: Stay informed about competitors and market trends at all national, state, and sometimes county levels, to be prepared for any arising questions or challenges.
