Ecommerce Head Of Operations

Ecommerce company is seeking a Head of Operations to lead their Operations department. This is a fully remote position, M-F. Candidates must be based in the US, preferably in Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities:

• Drive sustainable growth and minimize losses
• Develop a deep understanding of Company’s business goals, priorities, and challenges
• Some out of hours work as this is a global company working across many time zones
• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations including, but not limited to: contracts, HR, legal (international and multi state), finance, sales, customer service, website, data analytics, marketing, platform administration, etc.
• Review budgets and staffing
• Overseeing all aspects of the company’s legal operations eg trademarks, vendor contracts, privacy policy
• Ensure compliance on a company, state and federal level
• Onboarding and Offboarding of new employees and ensuring HR compliance
• Oversee planning, maintenance and efficiency
• Prepare operational reports and finance reports
• Oversee operational policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with project tracking multiple projects and managing deadlines
• Experienced working in a fully remote and virtual environment
• The ability to work fully remotely, full-time (40 hours/week), Monday - Friday
• Located in Eastern Time Zone preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills, writing and verbal
• Proven experience in finance and legal operations
• 5 -10 + years of ecommerce Operations experience
• An understanding and proficiency in - or similar platforms - including but not limited to: Monday.com, Google Suite, Xero, Wordpress, Slack, Hubspot and Zoom
