Global It Delivery Director

We are actively looking to hire a Global IT Delivery Director to work hybrid in our Dallas, TX office.

The role of the Global IT Delivery Director will consult and partner with the Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Global IT leadership Team to deliver the initiatives and operations of a number of domains (functions/product areas) across the organization's domain.

Leading with a collaborative approach, this role will contribute at both a hands-on and strategic level to ensure that the business outcomes are realized, and the IT strategy is implemented.

In conjunction with the CIO and the IT Leadership Team, this role will work to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of transformative initiatives that will ensure that our business is at the forefront of the marketplace and offering great flexibility and speed to the business as a whole.

Duties and responsibilities of the Global IT Delivery Director

• Recruit, develop, coach, and lead the domain teams fostering collaboration with other domains outside of your scope of responsibility.
• Balance the work delivered in each domain across the regional, operational, tactical, and strategic axis. Ensuring that the overall service delivered by a domain line up with business expectations.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, championing clear and responsive communication to the domain teams, the broader IT team, and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the other members of the Global IT Leadership Team to ensure that our common objectives are delivered.
• Lead the delivery of initiatives (SaaS, hybrid, bespoke software) across a number of domains, ensuring that the scope, timeline, budget, and business benefits are achieved.
• Oversee with the other Global IT Delivery Directors the practice of delivery management, ensuring high-quality understanding and capability for teams to deliver business outcomes.
• Ensure the appropriate industry best practices and methods are in place across business engagement and delivery management to deliver the initiatives within your remit.
• Ensure all Domain initiatives are fully integrated into the PMO planning process for approval, leadership commitment, priority management, and resource, and budget control.
• Select and manage 3rd party partners to help deliver initiatives within your portfolio and supplement the permanent domain teams.
• Work with the Regional IT Directors and business representatives to understand the specific needs of the business within each region and how to realize a common business process where possible.
• Provide information for investment decisions and manage a budget.

Qualifications & Requirements for the Global IT Delivery Director

• Good attention to detail, a strong analytical mind, and excellent organizational skills.
• Strong track record in leading large-scale business-driven programs of work successfully achieving the desired benefits and outcomes.
• Able to inspire, lead and connect leaders of autonomous teams to deliver initiatives that span multiple domains
• Previous experience in enterprise vendor selection and contract management.
• Experience in delivering ERP through the build and buy across large-scale enterprises
• Exceptional people management and leadership skills. Able to lead teams across the entire landscape of IT and business to work together and achieve results in a matrix organization.
• Expertise in agile/lean/waterfall methodologies as well as operations and service management.
• Experience working in a global role with multiple geographies and cultures
