GHD has an immediate opening for a Global Mobility and Immigration Manager to lead the GHD’s mobility and immigration strategy and programs. This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who thrives on working in partnership with our business to ensure we attract, retain and develop talented people. With a team of two advisors focused on case management, the GMI Manager will be focused on building an incredible employee experience for those who move and developing a culture of mobility at GHD.

This position can be based in most GHD office locations in the U.S or Canada.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Lead the development, implementation and management of all mobility and immigration programs and policies, ensuring they meet business needs and align with market practice
- Mentoring and training GHD leaders on mobility policies and procedures, with the intention to upskill, increase knowledge and understanding
- Manage and mentor the Global Mobility team, to help them to provide the best possible Global Mobility service delivery to mobile employees and their families
- Provide a phenomenal employee experience and utilize feedback to recommend improvements
- Provide regional requirements and expertise in immigration and governance
- Work closely with senior leaders and People Teams to understand client project pipelines and resourcing requirements, acting as a trusted advisor in completing standard process mobility to meet these businesses needs
Experience and qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience plus at least 8 years of related mobility experience
- Analytical and continuous improvement mindset
- Significant experience working at a senior level in a sophisticated organization with an in-depth knowledge of global mobility principles, policies, tax and immigration
- Proven experience in coaching and mentoring the Mobility team, and passionate about crafting an environment where people thrive
- Demonstrated customer service and partnership skills
