Fp&A Analyst (Contractor) - Fortune 500 Business

As a FP&A Analyst, you will be at the forefront of the financial operations, responsible for:

• Reviewing and analyzing monthly financial results, revealing valuable insights into variances from forecast and budget.
• Tracking and analyzing key metrics, from Operating Results to Capital Expenditures, allowing the client to make informed decisions and drive success.
• Nurturing an environment of continuous improvement by performing various ad hoc studies and analyses, providing support for sales, capacity expansion, and operational endeavors.
• Preparing, consolidating, and reporting monthly Global financial results, contributing to a global view of the financial achievements.
• Conducting profitability analysis at a granular level, catering to ad-hoc business requests and paving the way for strategic growth.
• Collaborating with the Global Business Team to discuss and interpret monthly financial results, playing a pivotal role in preparing impactful KPIs and presentations.

Requirements:

• Big 4 background a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Comfortable working with diverse professionals and nationalities.
• Proficiency in SAP, including data preparation and management reporting.
• Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business. MBA or CPA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry/business experience, with a background in accounting.
• Strong prioritization and workload management abilities.

Additional information:

• This is a full time assignment (min 45h a week) for the next 6 months at minimum.
• This is a Contracting opportunity (i.e. 1099)
• This role offers flexibility to work from home 2 to 3 days per week, the main office being in Houston.
