Position: Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Location: Round Rock, TX

Job Overview:

As the Senior Manager for Financial Planning and Analysis, you will report directly to the VP of Finance and champion key financial strategies and analysis. You will steer our financial planning and analysis endeavors, playing an instrumental role in public reporting, month-end analytics, and the intricacies of budgeting and forecasting. This position is vital for our transition to public reporting and offers a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from key performance metric insights to promoting cross-functional collaboration for improved business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Head the annual planning and forecasting process, paving the way for public reporting.

· Dive deep into month-end reporting activities, variance analysis, and ensure compliance with internal controls.

· Lead in-depth financial and operational analyses relating to manufacturing, engineering, and SG&A activities.

· Synthesize and convey key performance metrics, aligning them with our overarching business strategy.

· Propose future estimations for critical performance metrics and direct the creation of precise budgets and forecasts.

· Collaborate with organizational stakeholders to brainstorm cost-saving initiatives.

· Oversee the development of analytics surrounding manufacturing costs and product margins.

· Drive the integration of Business Intelligence tools and ensure real-time decision data availability.

· Spearhead corporate projects with far-reaching organizational impact.

· Scrutinize and summarize essential financial data, keeping an eye on profitability, expense analyses, and key metrics.

· Vet cost-saving or cost-avoidance projects aimed at optimizing operations, reigning in expenses, and boosting performance.

· Offer early insights into projected savings, gauging potential risks and opportunities.

· Validate and compute ROI on CAPEX projects, fostering inter-departmental collaboration.

Qualifications and Skills: Must-Have Skills:

· 8-10 years of relevant experience with 2-3 years as a Manager of FP&A.

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

· Strong financial statement knowledge, especially in crafting forecasting models.

· Advanced reporting analytics and modeling proficiency.

Good-to-Have Skills:

· Experience in NetSuite.

· Background in product manufacturing.

· Ability to drive system integration and leverage Business Intelligence tools.
