About the Role:


The Real Estate Services department is seeking a self-motivated, versatile Business Operations Analyst II. This business professional will have experience and skills in contract administration, financial management, process improvement, and project management, with a primary focus on responsibility of the department’s procurement processes for departmental purchases as well as projects and provide back-up support for budgeting and financial analytics generation within the department. This individual should have demonstrated an ability to work well within a team, partner with other areas, and have an excellent customer centric attitude.


You Will:


  • Provide analytical support to team and assist in leading various process improvements/projects for increased effectiveness and efficiency in financial and administrative operations, workflows, methodologies, and department applications/tools around procurement practices.
  • Support overall department and project financial management activities, including accounting, capital and expense forecasting, procurement, accounts payable, and vendor management; generate measurement systems and reports designed to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Design and develop management reports which satisfy informational needs of the business unit.
  • Assist team with writing, editing, proofreading, and interpreting various documents, including procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Research and interpret requirements from the District and System guidelines, as well as emerging or evolving best practices and trends and present recommendations to management, with the potential to execute or assist in the execution of recommendations.


You Have:


  • Experience with creating and/or maintaining electronic collaboration resources a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree, with a major in Business Management, or related field is preferred; coursework in operations management, budgeting, and accounting is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and report various operational or ad hoc data.
  • Average level and consistently progressing knowledge and understanding of internal control concepts, including detailed knowledge in one or more of the following fields: procurement, compliance, budget, process improvement, or research; along with basic knowledge of tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization’s operational processes and related risks.
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements.
  • Ability to assimilate and apply new information in a timely manner.
  • 3+ years of experience of related professional work experience, with a focus on procurement, budget, compliance, process improvement, and/or research.

Notes:


This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.


This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. For this specific role, 2 days per week of work can be conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
