Description


The HR Project Advisor will initially be a member of the Compensation and Benefits team providing support to projects related to compensation, benefits or broader Human Resource (HR) initiatives to meet function or business needs. By applying ConocoPhillips’ HR and compensation and benefits philosophy, strategy, and practices, you will influence the delivery of HR programs to align with the strategic goals and objectives of ConocoPhillips. You will be responsible for providing expertise, market insights, training and guidance to other HR teams.


ConocoPhillips’ Compensation and Benefits team is part of the broader HR organization, consisting of other functions including, HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Talent Management, Talent Strategy & Development, DEI, and HR Analytics. Your Responsibilities May Include


  • Preparing employee and/or leader HR communications or presentations
  • Assisting with making strategic recommendations and creating presentations for executive level reviews
  • Conducting market analysis on compensation programs (including base, short- and long-term incentives) through research and salary survey input and analysis
  • Ensuring competitiveness of compensation and benefits programs in one or more countries to support our global compensation and benefits strategy and local business needs, and to make recommended changes as needed
  • Providing support for compensation, benefits or broader HR initiatives projects or initiatives


Basic/Required


  • Intermediate level of knowledge in design and implementation of compensation programs
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Master’s degree or higher in Human Resources or foreign equivalent
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee
  • 3+ year experience in compensation or other data analysis
  • 3+ year experience in Human Resources


Preferred


  • 1+ years of experience with Workday
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills as well as an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately to successful completion in a fast-paced environment
  • Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
  • Takes ownership of actions and follows through on dedications by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right
  • Drives thoughtful and pragmatic change, encourages innovative thinking and continuous improvement, and models adaptability through resourcefulness, flexibility and positivity
  • Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have good interpersonal and client facing skills with all employees, HR Business Partners, Managers, and Senior Leadership
  • Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals
