Rme - Skilled Tradesperson With General Contractor License Tx

Freemodel is seeking a full time Responsible Managing Employee with a General Contractor license for our operations in Texas as we rapidly expand and grow. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will work directly with the Head of Operations on Freemodel’s construction operation in Texas supervising renovation operations and ensuring project safety, obtaining proper permits, record keeping, the timely payment of subcontractors, etc. from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed to the highest quality standards.
Freemodel is a comprehensive pre-sales home renovation service that helps homeowners sell for more by renovating before they sell. We provide a full “GC” (general contractor) back-office including marketing, sales, capital, software, and support. Using our platform, Freemodel’s freelance renovators provide high-quality, in-person home renovation services without any of the back-office headaches. Think: AirBNB for home renovation.
Requirements
Responsibilities

• Check jobs for proper workmanship
• Exercise supervision and control of Freemodel’s construction and renovation operations
• Report any observed misconduct
• Conduct project inspections as it relates to safety, project quality, subcontractor performance, homeowner satisfaction, etc.
• Assist in managing construction activities by making technical and administrative decisions
• Assist company with all filings or other actions necessary for its continued use of services
• Assist in coordinating with permitting offices, contractor license boards, utilities, city offices, inspectors, etc.

Requirements

• General Contractor license in Texas in good standing
• 10 - 15 years of similar experience
• A clean criminal background and driving record
• Able to be responsible managing employee (RME) or responsible managing owner (RMO) for Freemodel

Compensation
The US total compensation range for this full-time position is Employer shall pay the employee a salary on a semi-monthly basis as outlined in the agreement, the Employer’s revenue solely attributed to construction projects completed by Employer in the State of Texas. The Revenue Scale ranges between $2,500 - $5,500 per pay month.
Our ranges are determined by the revenue scale outlined in the employment agreement. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the approximate total target compensation for the position across the US.
