What You'll Do:

Birdeye is looking for a driven finance professional to play a key role supporting the marketing org including reporting, planning activities, and analytics. The role will be responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, and communicating financial and operational data to drive key business decisions and efficiency in growing the marketing team. This role reports to the Senior Corporate Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with CMO / marketing channel managers and provide marketing analytics support, including campaign-level ROI analysis, monthly reporting, responding to questions on financials and key business metrics, and other ad hoc analyses
• Work with Business Intelligence and Business Systems to maintain and optimize underlying data supporting models
• Manage the annual financial and operational budget and the quarterly and monthly financial forecasts for the marketing organization
• Design and deliver robust and scalable reporting methodology where you can quickly synthesize information and structure a concise, clear presentation of findings to an executive audience
• Develop and maintain financial models to track and analyze marketing performance and evaluate alternative scenarios and the related impact on performance and efficiency

Skills, Experience and Attributes for Success:

• Excellent communication skills; ability to prepare concise, data driven presentations for an executive audience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related field
• Thrive in fast paced startup work environment; Flexible and adaptable to change of priorities
• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, Investment Banking, Consulting, or related field, preferably in SaaS/Technology industry
• Strong analytical mindset with an attention to detail and the ability to identify and quickly resolve data issues / requirements
• Advanced Excel skills; Proficiency in Salesforce, NetSuite, and other relevant financial systems/software
• Proven success in understanding businesses and developing financial models; cross-functional collaboration to implement new processes
• Positive, can do attitude
