Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for an Events Specialist, B2B who will work day to day to transform concepts into unique experiences including: trade show/expo exhibits, virtual events, sponsorship activations, and corporate meetings. You will understand company goals and objectives and properly meet expectations, while developing and managing project timelines to keep our vendors accountable. You will collaborate with our creative team on event design, coordinate production schedules and logistics, as well as source/supervise contracts with vendors and venues. The Events Associate/Manager, B2B will report into the Vice President, Sales and partner closely with our Director of Brand Activations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with B2B vertical leads to identify new opportunities
  • ~60% travel, mostly domestic with some international
  • Act as the conduit for all activity on identified projects between Therabody’s B2B sales team, marketing team, and creative team, as well as all external suppliers and vendors
  • Prepare and maintain individual event budgets as well as the yearly budget for B2B events
  • For each event/opportunity, create an evaluation proposal including goals, KPIs, objectives, projected ROI versus projected cost. Track and report on the ROI following each opportunity
  • Navigate internal workflows and effectively communicate internally to ensure events /tradeshows are executed. Ensure company policies & procedures are maintained
  • Supervise the delegation, coordination, planning, management, and logistics of all aspects of events. Compile and communicate all event requirements to necessary departments
  • Support in driving and developing Therabody’s B2B event strategy, continually questioning and improving our current roadmap
  • Submit event invoices for payment, making sure they are captured in settlement, and approve/submit to the finance department
  • Effectively manage internal event staff, providing necessary leadership, support and guidance
  • Travel to and execute in-person events with on-location event leadership. Represent the Therabody brand, culture and mission through all communication, as well as serving as the face of the brand through each event
The Right Person Would Have
  • Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with external partners, across all functions.
  • 3+ year’s experience in B2B events and/or tradeshows/expo exhibits.
  • Experience translating project goals and strategies into actionable plans and guidance for team members.
  • Able to be flexible and adapt quickly to the demands of challenging and unusual projects.
  • Experience managing the full lifecycle of productions and advise if there are any problems in workflow or work style
  • Experience creating and tracking budgets.
  • Seeking great organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Experience creating and maintaining production schedules.
