Job Description
What We Need


FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire an AR/Collections Specialist within our TA Connections division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business. In this role, you will ensure payments are received and posted in a timely manner by engaging in courteous collections communications, efficient discrepancy resolutions, and accurate record keeping You will report directly to the Account Receivables Supervisor.

Role Responsibilities


The Responsibilities Of The Role Will Include


  • Generate statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails in a timely and courteous manner
  • Initiate inquiries and conduct research to resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Maintain databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed
  • Initiate communication with partners, clients, and customers to request payment
  • Prepare or modify and send invoices or invoice reminder notices
  • Other administrative, accounting, or collections-related responsibilities as assigned
  • Escalate collections issues in accordance with company procedures
  • Ask questions and share ideas
  • Identify customer payments and accurately record them into the system


Qualifications & Skills


  • Superior time management skills
  • Past collections experience is a plus
  • Tenacity
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and ability to quickly learn new technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Integrity
  • Desire to continually learn and improve performance
  • College coursework related to accounting or finance is a plus
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to the achievement of team goals
  • 1-2 years customer service, administrative, or other related experience
