Meet Your Future Neighbors
As the B2B Content Marketing Lead, you’ll own Nextdoor’s business content strategy across small business and mid-market prospects and customers to drive awareness, education, and revenue in the US and key countries. This includes leading the strategy, creation, execution, and measurement, in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role includes creating content such as blog posts, case studies, getting started guides, webinars, and thought leadership. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead content for the launch of new products and help define the customer journey, bringing your creativity and B2B experience.
The Impact You’ll Make
  • Collaborate with Growth Marketing, Sales, Sales Marketing, Comms, Data Science, and Product Marketing to unlock insights and incorporate inputs to craft compelling content
  • Manage and develop strong working relationships with our external SEO agency and freelance writers that support the content marketing strategy
  • Measure impact of content strategy and optimize to increase the value
  • Define the content strategy to attract, educate, and convert business prospects and customers throughout the buyer’s journey, including personas and verticals.
  • Bring storytelling to life throughout the content
  • Create, manage, and communicate content editorial calendar based on the product roadmap, seasonal moments, and meeting the need for timely and relevant content for Nextdoor to be a thought leader and trusted resource
  • Develop and implement creative assets, including, but not limited to thought leadership, best practices, product overviews, competitive comparisons, case studies, etc. and ensure effective distribution across channels
  • Develop content partnerships to increase awareness of Nextdoor’s solutions and distribution
What You’ll Bring To The Team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear examples of using data actively to define a content strategy, desired KPI's and leading indicators, ROI analysis, and recommendations
  • Strong prioritization skills and strategic decision making to determine the highest impact near-term and long-term marketing opportunities
  • Nice to have is direct experience managing and implementing SEO best practices
  • Track record of leadership and influencing skills in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment
  • Passionate about Nextdoor’s mission and the impact we can have on neighborhoods around the world
  • Proven experience creating impactful content
  • 7+ years of B2B content expertise drive customer awareness, education, acquisition, and retention to increase revenue
  • Excitement for the content development process and drive to see projects through to completion: ideation, research, gathering input/buy in, and execution
  • Customer empathy and excitement to help small and medium-sized businesses thrive
  • Creativity to bring innovative thinking and new ideas, including content, channels, mediums, etc.
  • Thrives independently and within a team environment, with a proven track record of bringing a proactive approach to work with minimal supervision

Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.
The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $94,000 to $153,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.
We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.
Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
