About The Role

Magnit is looking for an experienced Events Manager to plan and manage the execution of internal events, external events, and webinars to support companywide initiatives, help drive brand awareness and deliver measurable business impact. The successful candidate will bring passion, ambition, and experience in delivering events for major brands.

What You Will Do

• Partner with external suppliers and agencies as needed.
• Execution and project management of proprietary events, webinars, 3rd party events and some internal events including budgeting, logistics, promotional plans, and coordination with partner, sales, and client success teams.
• Manage event staffing and contractors onsite.
• Manage meeting planning and logistics to support the desired outcome of the meeting, third party conference and/or webinar.
• Manage project goals and timelines related to key projects and deliverables.
• Manage business priorities that support the overall company objectives.
• Manage ongoing metrics, both qualitative and quantitative, to measure the success of the events and webinars.

What You Will Need

• Ability to operate effectively as part of large, complex virtual team.
• Ability to present confidently and concisely to executive and internal audiences.
• 7+ years of event marketing experience.
• Event marketing expertise within the cloud tech industry is strongly preferred.
• You have a proven track record of marketing success from within a Cloud software/service, SaaS, or IaaS company is strongly preferred.
• Highly developed project management skills with outstanding attention to detail.
• Ability to create and manage a budget.
• You demonstrate excellent listening, oral and written communication, and presentation skills with the strong ability to influence people at all levels and in various functions.

Compensation Package

• Hourly rate is up to $57hr
• Hourly rate is based on experience, skills, and geographical location.
