Summary / Position Purpose:
We are searching for a motivated, self-starter who brings creativity and synergy for this Educational and National Account Manager role!
The Educational and National Account Manager role has direct responsibility for building brand equity, sales, and profits for TestEquity’s product portfolio across multiple categories. The expectation is to achieve or exceed sales goals through a comprehensive vertical business management approach, owning the process from top to bottom. The Educational and National Account Manager in this role is enthusiastic about the business and an independent thinker with a team spirit! Proven analytical and critical thinking skills are necessary, along with organization, persistent follow up and attention to detail. Multi-tasking should be second nature. Excellent negotiation, listening, verbal and written communication skills are necessary as well as a comfort level presenting to the TestEquity team members.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced industry professional with strong core sales and negotiating skills to add value to the TE sales process.
Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with local Account Managers to increase awareness and adoption of educational programs as well as contractual pricing and terms for national accounts.
- Determination of potential projects and acquisition of new customer groups as well as support and development of existing customers.
- Participation in the development of the sales strategy in coordination with the Director of Strategic and National Accounts.
- Attend meetings, trade shows, when necessary, with customers, OEMs, and AMs to determine business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to produce and present a valuable solution.
- Provide support and advice to sales teams on deal process and contract management.
- Create and confidently deliver presentations internally to key stakeholders.
- Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders and provide strategic advice on the Company's go-to-market efforts.
- Bring your understanding of product and pricing to guide the sales team during negotiations, and in other contexts as they relate to national and educational customers.
- Work with Product Management to feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products.
- Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on processes and activities for the national and educational accounts.
- Direct responsibility for building brand equity, sales, and profits for key strategic brands in multiple categories.
- Maintenance of national and international relationships within the company as well as contacts to business partners, important decision-makers, and the expansion of customer reach.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
