Job Description
We are looking for a Director of Accounting, Corporate Responsibility to be part of our global finance team reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer. This is the key finance lead to ensure corporate responsibility accounting and reporting is accurate, timely, controlled and auditable under relevant requirements. Corporate Responsibility includes elements of environmental, social, governance and sustainability matters.
This position will ensure corporate responsibility reporting brings the same difficulty and diligence used in financial reporting, bringing problem solving skills to operationalize the process in an evolving landscape. A strong understanding of internal controls and experience in designing and driving controls will be required. This Director role will orchestrate the data and processes across our requirements.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Build and operationalize global sustainability reporting metrics by coordinating with global partners including data transformation and reporting
  • Ensure the timely reporting of our audited sustainability metrics including greenhouse gas emissions and any other requirements to be issued in the future
  • Developing process and internal controls to ensure data collected is complete and accurate from various collaborators
  • Establish sustainability measurement and reporting policies
  • Monitor sustainability rules and reporting changes over data sources, process and procedures are maintained and aligned with current and future sustainability regulations globally (Ex. SEC, CSRD, and ISSB)
  • Work with external auditors during quarterly, interim, and annual audits of sustainability metrics
What We Need to See:
  • 10+ overall years of experience, CPA highly desired
  • Undergraduate Degree in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent experience) with knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience in SEC financial reporting, leading SOX programs or similar reporting responsibilities within a U.S. public company
  • Passion for climate and sustainability initiatives
  • Strong understanding in financial internal controls
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task on multiple priorities with various partners
  • Experienced in leading cross functional projects and related management presentations
  • Demonstrated experience with process and system automation
  • 4+ years of leadership experience
Ways To Stand Out from The Crowd:
  • Experience in ERP system implementations and reporting transformations
  • Previously worked in sustainability reporting or auditing at a large accounting or consulting firm (ex. Big 4 public accounting firm)
  • Proven track record of accomplishment of establishing relationships with cross-functional business partners
  • Previously implemented and run sustainability or ESG reporting processes in large companies
The role is based in our headquarters in Santa Clara, California.

The base salary range is $220,000 - $333,500. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
