Job Description

Our client is a global learning solutions provider - e.g. eLearning, face to face training, custom built learning programs, etc.


They are very well established and successful global business with a Fortune 500 client base - predominantly sitting in highly regulated industries.


The Americas HQ has an immediate requirement for someone to do this unique and hybrid role which contains a varied mix of duties and responsibilities including: consultative sales and customer success, project coordination, consulting, solution design, and working in a team. On the sales side, it is more "farming" than "hunting".


This role will suit someone who is currently working within the corporate learning solutions space. For the right candidate this can be a VP level position, but please note the salary budget is hardly that of a VP...(sorry!)


Within this varied and interesting role, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of client projects in the Custom Business unit in North America. This is a consultative and client-facing role.


The role in some detail:

  • Carrying and delivering a financial sales target of $1m
  • Report/proposal writing and client-facing presentations.
  • Managing the deployment of products and services.
  • Consulting with management and business development on client relationship status and business issues.
  • Building networks with new and within existing accounts to strengthen overall relationships and provide as-needed support to drive revenue growth.
  • Promoting digital content and related consultancy services.
  • Signing off on product design deliverables (including technical and editorial) in association with the client project manager.
  • Maintaining close contact with client representatives to ensure that client deliverables and milestones are met.
  • Innovating new approaches to meet clients’ needs and budgets.
  • Brainstorming ideas with the product development team on various projects.
  • This role is an individual contributor role but involves a great deal of stakeholder management.
  • Contributing to the innovation drive within the company.


What our client is looking for in the ideal candidate:

· Min of 3+ years’ experience in custom learning solutions, ideally in a client-facing role.

· Proven track record in sales or a revenue-generating role.

· Ability to execute under tight deadlines in a highly collaborative organizational structure.

· Personal initiative and drive with the ability to work independently to achieve objectives.

· Genuine interest in learning, growing, and pushing boundaries to develop quality programs,

products, and services for clients.

· Innovative yet pragmatic thinker who applies creative solutions to client problems.

· Highly detailed, organized, and efficient.

· Strong client service orientation


The role can be remote and the office is in Manhattan so you will be expected to attend team meetings there every few months.


Salary budget set at $105k - $115k plus commissions - (OTE of $150k or so, maybe more)
