For our MVP Mobile App, we are going for the CA public transit system, a travel option that no one is excited about. We are looking for a Creative Marketing Specialist Intern to join our team and take our marketing and social media to the next level. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media campaigns to increase our online presence and community engagement. You will also be working closely with our Business Operations, UI/UX Designers and Data Science teams.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating marketing content and distributing it effectively on TikTok, Instagram and Linkedin. You will help us create a strong brand presence with innovative promotional offerings, online and offline marketing campaigns, and marketing events. You are a passionate, results-oriented self-starter who enjoys having significant ownership over features and have strong analytical skills that will assist you as you monitor and report on the success of your marketing efforts.

• Create online and offline marketing content
• Plan and execute campaigns and events
• Strengthen our relationship with students and company partnershipsthrough our social media
• Create social media content to promote PoolUp products, engage with the community, and acquire new customers
• Content includes:Text posts, Images, Videos
• Develop relationships with local businesses, campus/student organizations, and universities to promote PoolUp
• Track, analyze and report the success of those campaigns and events
• Current Platforms:Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok

As fall is approaching, PoolUp is experiencing a high user growth. We are looking to add a creative marketing specialist to help with overall content creation and user acquisition.

Qualifications

• Graphic design knowledge
• Ability to think outside of the box and try interesting promotional tactics
• Experience in growing a social media account
• Proven history of making clean and engaging social media content
• 0 - 3 years of marketing experience
• Completing a BS/BA in Marketing or a related field of study
• Canva and or Figma knowledge and interest
• Excellent written and communication skills
