Role Description

Bullet Sponge is seeking an outside-the-mold creative human to join our team as an entry-level Creative Intern! As a remote intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience alongside gaming industry professionals through various marketing communications-based projects through our unique 8-week program. Interns will remotely collaborate with Bullet Sponge leadership on market research, copywriting, digital design, client outreach, and more. This is an unpaid position, offering flexible hours to accommodate your scheduling needs.

Active pursuance of a university degree is NOT required to apply for this position. That's right, you DON'T have to be a current student!

What do interns learn at Bullet Sponge?

Microsoft Teams

• Schedule meetings, create & manage teams, navigate SharePoint, and utilize platform settings to maximize your engagement on video calls.

Digital Design

• Design branded content such as logos, digital posters, landing pages, and infographics using Canva Pro

Market Research

• Identify and analyze industry-relevant data to understand market positioning, trends, and projections

Copywriting

• Write brand-centric boilerplate, employer value proposition statements, newsletters, and market research-based blog entries

Personal Brand

• Learn to optimize your digital presence and network with industry professionals using engagement & content best practices that enhance your personal brand visibility

Qualifications

• Laptop or computer with reliable internet connection & program download capabilities
• Excellent verbal & written English communication skills
• Willingness and ability to work remotely and independently
• Basic understanding of creative marketing - Branding, Social Media, Content Creation, Visual Merchandising
• Authentic interest in, and knowledge of, the video game industry
