Community Solar Analyst Jobs

We are currently seeking a Community Solar Analyst who would be responsible for managing all subscriptions for community solar projects, which are online or in the near-term pipeline. The solar analyst would be reporting to the Director.

The ideal candidate should understand the structure and complexities to each community solar market and 3 + years of experience in community solar RECs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support origination efforts by keeping an eye on new community solar programmes and disseminating key programme information and timelines.
• Keep track of new community solar programmes and spot critical openings to aid in origination efforts.
• Assist with new projects during the onboarding process to ensure all teams have pertinent commercial information.
• Understand each community solar market's structure and complexities.
• Being an expert on all federal, state, and utility adders will help you maximise project returns.
• Working with third-party community solar managers will help you keep track of acquisition milestones and make sure subscription levels stay close to 100% after COD.
• Work with internal regulatory teams to ensure compliance with each programme and incentive structure.

• Advanced analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Outstanding oral and written communicator with the capacity to summarise big data sets.
• Strong knowledge of community solar and RECs.
• Dedicated team player who will always promote the interests of the business and coworkers.
• Strong attention to detail by working in a conscientious, consistent, and thorough manner.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in the community solar field.
