Reporting to the Sr. Director, Field Operations, the Community Health Solutions Manager is a remote, field-based professional that plays a vital role in the mission to address opioid overdose through increased access and awareness of Narcan Nasal Spray. This position supports local and regional Field team members in connecting with new and existing customers, responding to inquiries, identifying business development opportunities, monitoring orders, and maintaining sales-related databases playing a crucial role in ensuring smooth sales operations and customer satisfaction.


This position supports the Field team in regional calls, meetings, trainings, provides sales support within key customer accounts, as well as drives prospecting and business development activities in our CRM system.


Essential Functions

  • Prepare presentations and documentation to support team efforts to increase utilization of NARCAN NASAL SPRAY through effective communication.
  • Support in-person activities =including community activations, exhibits, and trade shows, as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with Field Team within their assigned region to meet and exceed product access and sales goals for various account types including state/county/local government, Opioid Treatment Programs, Naloxone Distribution Programs, Public Health Agencies, Police Departments, Fire Departments, Harm Reduction groups, EMT/Ambulance Companies and other similar and/or large strategic accounts.
  • Model Emergent core values and embody an innovative mindset.
  • Support the coordination of Narcandirect website training to reinforce satisfaction and loyalty to brand.
  • Following extensive product training, tailor Narcan promotional message based upon knowledge of the customer, provide recommendations advise on appropriate product selection, respond to customer questions about product functionality and distinguish Narcan products from those of Narcan competitors.
  • Prepare reports, analysis, and insights, and provide recommendations to commercial leaders.

Minimum Education, Experience, Skills


  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts using a consultative selling approach.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple high priorities, identify resource needs, drive to completion, prepare reports, and evaluate results.
  • Team player capable of working effectively with variety of departments and with a strong bias for collaboration.
  • Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Extensive travel may be required, including overnights.
  • Excellent interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills; phone, email, etc.
  • The completion of post-secondary education in business, accompanied by over three years’ experience in public health, nonprofit, state government agency, healthcare sales or related fields, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding and passion to assist those suffering from substance use disorder, dependency and the associated comorbid conditions.
  • Preferred candidate has deep understanding of how grass root organizations supporting OUD work in the communities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external customer/stakeholders is essential.
