Position: Solar Sales Representative

We are a start-up solar company seeking a top-performing Solar Sales Representative, a closer, to join our team. As a 1099 employee, you will be working on a commission-only basis and will be responsible for driving sales of our solar products and services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the solar industry and be able to work independently to meet and exceed sales targets. We are seeking an individual who possesses a deep passion for the solar industry, exceptional communication skills, and a high level of self-motivation and coachability.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our installation team to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process for our customers
• Attend industry events and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the solar industry
• Conduct online visits to assess customers' energy needs and provide customized solar solutions
• Generate new sales leads through various channels, including referrals, networking, and online research
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential customers
• Negotiate and close sales contracts with customers, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• HIS License/NEM 3.0 knowledge is a plus
• Willingness to work on a commission-only basis (uncapped)
• Self-gen leads is a plus
• At least 2 years of experience in solar sales or a related field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
