Solar Project Manager Jobs

Job Overview:

My client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Utility Scale Solar Project Manager to oversee the planning, development, and execution of solar power projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to project team members, ensuring that they are motivated and working effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.
• Ensure that all projects are completed to the required quality standards.
• Report on project progress to senior management, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
• Manage project budgets, monitoring costs and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
• Identify and manage project risks, ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to mitigate them.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, ensuring that it is up-to-date and accurate.
• Travel up to 50%
• Develop and maintain project plans and schedules, ensuring that timelines and milestones are met.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
• At least 3 years of experience in project management, solar experience required
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proven experience in managing utility-scale solar projects.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
