The firm is a PE backed startup focused on utility-scale energy asset development. Building projects to own & operate for years to come. With a large portfolio under asset, the organization is looking for individuals to help bring over 6GW of new PV & battery projects online by 2028.

What are we looking for?

In a nutshell the Development Manager is responsible for taking developing projects from green-fielding to NTP & all major milestones in-between for utility-scale PV & BESS projects across the US.

• Building relationships with local government, utility, and other stakeholder groups and gathering market research to guide project development processes.
• You would be responsible for managing up to 6 utility-scale PV (Solar) &/or BESS projects.
• Supporting the development, enhancement, release, and utilization of project management and development tools, procedures, and best practices.
• In collaboration with internal teams, outside consultants, and neighborhood stakeholders, leading, managing, and coordinating all development activities across the Project Portfolio, including but not limited to site acquisition, real estate and title curative, interconnection, regulatory approvals, engineering, land use and environmental permitting, and financial valuation.
• Collaborating closely with the commercial, EPC, legal, and financial teams to evaluate and implement the aforementioned strategy.
• Coordinating, leading, and structuring project contracts, such as land agreements, interconnection agreements, tax agreements, PPAs, etc. with internal and external resources.

What do you need to have done?

• Deep understanding of the major milestones for utility-scale PV development
• 4+ years of experience in renewable energy project development.
