Solar Hse Analyst Jobs

Support Asset Management in analysis and understanding of operating solar plant performance relative to pre-construction energy estimates.

Knowledge, both technical and commercial, of how renewable energy assets are developed, constructed, operated and financed.

Manage and create spatial data in geographic information systems to support assessment, design, and optimization of projects.

Experience with databases and general understanding of information technology and database design and administration.

Understanding of the North American energy market and experience in business development

Strong knowledge of community solar and RECs.

3+ years of relevant work experience in the community solar field.

Advanced analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

Understand each community solar market's structure and complexities.

Being an expert on all federal, state, and utility adders will help you maximise project returns.

Work with internal regulatory teams to ensure compliance with each programme and incentive structure.

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related academic field

3+ years' of experience as a financial analyst preparing and presenting financial models for C&I/Community Scale solar developer

Knowledge of Renewable Energy Credit (REC) market and Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS) is a plus

Able to build financial models to support business decisions and presentation of analytical findings in a clear and concise manner

Prepare and maintain budgets & forecasts on an annual and quarterly basis.

Proven experience in relationship management, including partnering with and influencing internal stakeholders, both in person and virtually

Collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to ensure continuity of requirements

Relevant HSE, Technology, or operational experience 10+ years

Experience with Microsoft Power Platform

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with different teams to build a sustainable safety culture.

Proven experience in creating, managing, and optimizing systems across a distributed business

Comprehensively develop a strong corporate safety culture and Environmental, Health & Safety Management System (EHSMS) for the team.

Perform catastrophic event management and investigations for owner operations and utility scale power projects across North America.

Participate in vendor pre-qualification analysis as pertaining to HSE performance, compliance, and capability.

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field. Advanced degree and professional HSE certification preferred.

CSP (CUSP preferred) certification (required). Other certifications such as ASP, CHST, STSC, CHMM, NCSO, CHSC, CRSP are welcomed.

Conduct HSE risk audits, assessments, and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks and develop mitigation action plans.

Monitors and assists with implementation of the project HSE Plan, environmental plan, regulatory requirements, and any other safe work practices.

Supports project teams with the implementation of the emergency response plan and monitors project security requirements.

Verifies that equipment and tool inspections are being conducted and documented as per requirements.

1 year of experience in a related industry.

Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Identifies and assists in conducting project specific HSE training.
