NIVALMI Consulting has been retained by Singer Equipment Company, to recruit for a Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) role. This is a unique and challenging opportunity for an inspiring, strategic, and transformative leader to serve as a CHRO to oversee the entire employee lifecycle.
Singer is the proud recipient of the Foodservice and Supplies Dealer of the Year award for 2023. Its commitment to their customers has earned them an unbeatable reputation in their industry. Their massive growth in the past few years and plans for future expansion require a Human Resource Executive with a vision.
The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of Singer’s culture, overall business plan and strategic direction. The CHRO will carry-out their duties by adhering to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct and acts in the best interest of Singer. The CHRO provides strategic leadership by championing HR initiatives and operating plans to the executive management team, employees and the board of directors.
Duties/Responsibilities:
As CHRO, you will be leading, planning, implementing, and evaluating all HR initiatives, including but not limited to:
- Performance Management
- Employee Relations, etc.
- Communicating and driving Singer’s culture, mission, and values
- Benefits & Compensation
- Managing and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) for the organization’s HR and talent management function
- Training & Development
- HR daily workflows, performance, and productivity.
- Talent Management/Talent Acquisition: recruit, on-board, develop and retention of managers and employees and indirectly responsible for the talent management of all company employees.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.
- Strong entrepreneurial skills and highly developed business acumen
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Education and Experience:
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
- A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least five years of executive HR experience.
Reports to:
- CHRO reports to President / CEO
- CHRO is a member of the Singer executive team.
