: HR Business Partner (Asset Management Firm)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Business Partner to place in a 12 month role with a global asset management firm. In this role, you will have a significant impact on shaping and evolving our organizational culture while driving the human-capital agenda across the Americas. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting the broader global HR agenda. As a trusted partner to senior management and managers, you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of HR activities to ensure the success and growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with senior management and managers to provide strategic guidance and support on various HR initiatives and activities.
• Develop and implement resourcing plans and recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent, ensuring the organization has the right people in the right roles.
• Drive the talent management agenda by identifying high-potential individuals, creating development plans, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Oversee and advise on compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the organization’s goals and industry standards.
• Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance, conflict resolution, and ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
• Provide expertise and support in organizational design and change management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure alignment of HR practices and policies, sharing best practices, and contributing to the development of global HR strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, legal requirements, and best practices in HR, and apply this knowledge to drive improvements in HR processes and policies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role within the financial services industry, preferably in asset management.
• In-depth knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
• Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and organizational design.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior management, managers, and employees at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical solutions.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
