Job Description

A pharma company in Philadelphia is looking to add a HR Manager their team. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR Director in various human resources functions. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a solid understanding of HR processes, employee relations, and compliance. The HR Manager will work closely with department heads and employees to ensure a productive and positive work environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Performance Management: Support the performance appraisal process by assisting managers in setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and providing feedback.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate HR records, including employee files and databases. Handle administrative tasks such as drafting HR documents and managing HR systems.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with the HR Director to identify training needs and coordinate training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Support efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
  • Employee Engagement: Contribute to initiatives that promote employee engagement, recognition, and team building.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures. Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure a healthy work atmosphere.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits. Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial interviews. Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • HR Reporting and Analytics: Compile HR data and prepare reports for management. Use data insights to identify trends and propose improvements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification is a plus.
  • Five years of experience in HR roles, with progressive responsibility
