- Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results in relation to corporate goals.
- Responsible for employee on-boarding and orientation activities including conducting background screenings, sending Employment Agreements, and collaborating with various departments to on-board personnel.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in company efficiencies and employee relations.
- Monday - Friday
- Process employment verification requests.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, experience with an HRIS preferred
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification a plus
- Assist in development, implementation, distribution, and maintenance of personnel policies and procedures.
- Participate in administrative staff meetings.
- Processe unemployment claims and attend hearings as necessary.
- 830 AM - 530 PM
- Ability to solve problems by applying basic knowledge and performing independent research as applicable
- Ensure compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations concerning employment.
- Perform HRIS data entry and personnel record management.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, self-motivation, organization, and resourcefulness while maintaining a reputation through proven action of being team oriented and willing to assist where/when needed
- Ability to handle highly sensitive/confidential information and situations
- Superior communication and presentation skills with the ability to demonstrate these skills in both face-to-face and electronic formats with special attention to detail and accuracy
- Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent combination preferred
- Assist with changes in employment status including employment terminations, re-hires, FMLA, etc.
- Three (3) years of experience working in Human Resources
- Administer various Human Resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
- Compile information and files EEO-1 report annually; maintain other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Perform department audits to ensure compliance.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with minimum supervision
- Perform benefits administration to include enrollment, termination, claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees at Corporate and Field Offices.
