We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support AES Clean Energy people. As the HR Coordinator for AES Clean Energy, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of HR operations and promoting positive people experience. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks such as onboarding coordination, maintaining employee records, and responding to employee inquiries. As a trusted partner to both employees and management, you will provide guidance on policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
This position will be based in Philadelphia, PA but remote working options will be considered. The role requires great attention to detail, organization, technology proficiency, and the ability to work on multiple tasks at once.
Specific responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the contingent worker process in Workday Coordinate all onboarding related activities, such as orientation meetings, welcome kits, I-9 verification and ensure all new hire paperwork is submitted in a timely manner.
  • Process invoices and ensure accurate reconciliation in QuickBase.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Foster respectful and productive working relationships with all AES Clean Energy teams
  • Collaborate with HR team members to support priority initiatives and goals.
  • Reconcile actual expenses to planned expenses under the budget.
  • Execute day-to-day HR administrative tasks with precision and a keen eye for detail.
  • Manage HR department budget.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR administrative support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey information and encourage a shared vision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
  • Experience with HRIS and LMS platforms, with a preference for experience with Workday.
  • Ability to take ownership of processes and approach tasks with a growth mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement solutions.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $60,000 and $76,500/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
