Be at the forefront of AI/relevance powered growth at LinkedIn! We are looking for a Business Operation Associate to join our Network Growth “BizOps” team. Our Network Growth team at LinkedIn helps members connect to people they know and/or care about. We own the experiences and recommendation engines that suggest who to connect with, which Creators to follow, which Pages to follow, etc (we call them "edge-building" actions).


Responsibilities:


  • Identify levers for growth by having a deep understanding of our metrics trends, embarking on new angles of analyses, and connecting dots with other parts of LinkedIn to inform prioritization
  • Deliver strategic projects for our leadership that provide key business insights for high-priority initiatives
  • Manage financial/operational dashboards to monitor business line performance and analyze business drivers
  • Take ownership in actively managing performance of key operating metrics -monitoring, diagnosing and driving resolution for any issues
  • Partner with cross-functional teams that spans Product, Engineering, AI, Data Science, Design, PMM, and more to shape the future of LinkedIn relationship-building
  • Communicate effectively across all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners, to leadership / executives)
  • Identify, diagnose and resolve performance issues
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of our various businesses and develop deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of work experience in a strategy related role with an emphasis on quantitative skills
  • BA/BS degree in engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science, business or related discipline


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Concise and effective communications: You’re able to articulately present and debate recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Proactive and passionate: You’re independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
  • Highly analytical: You’re analytical, with experience decomposing and solving real world business problems, ideally building/using advanced models.
  • High-energy, team-first attitude: You’re motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business
  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy or an operational or growth role within a technology company
  • Experience with SQL

The pay range for this role is $85,000 - $126,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
