  • As the Senior Director of Product, you will join an expert team of Product leaders within the Growth group at Tinder. Reporting directly to the VP of Product, this role comes with the opportunity to orchestrate the definition, development, launch, and maintenance of long term Growth Strategy for Tinder to enable experiences for millions of members globally!


    Where you’ll work: This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three days per week. This position is located in San Francisco.


    What You'll Do:


  • Define the team’s long term growth strategy and vision with a detailed and analytical approach that considers user growth beyond their first day on the product and puts the user at the center of all ideation.
  • Think beyond just acquisition and consider what it takes to activate and retain a user
  • Conceptualize and complete new product adjacencies that unlock user growth in mature and up-and-coming international markets that lead to long term user retention across the product
  • Integrate standard methodologies in growth hacking across your organization and evangelize similar strategies that can be used by other cross-functional product teams
  • Partner with leaders across product, design, and engineering to define a roadmap that demonstrates out-of-product opportunities, existing functionality (e.g. LiveOps) and new technology (e.g. GenAI)
  • Completely direct your team's products and CRM engagement & lifecycle strategy, existing or new, from conceptualization, through development, to launch, growth and maintenance
  • Build alignment with cross-functional partners: consumer strategy, product marketing, ASO, business partnerships, engineers, data scientists, designers
  • Set the team's goals, success metrics and roadmap to align with Tinder's mission and drive maximum impact based on data analysis
  • Deeply understand Tinder’s business and the metrics that impact the performance of the marketplace
  • Identify new growth opportunities and forge partnerships with other teams across Tinder that fuel user lifecycle management
  • Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels

  • About You:


  • 8+ years of product management in a high growth consumer tech company
  • 2+ years of experience driving or leading CRM & growth marketing strategies that result in user growth and retention
  • Experience using growth hacking and 0-1 product conceptualization that fuel user growth
  • University degree, ideally with technical or business background or a mix of education and experience
  • Experience leading product or growth teams for consumer mobile apps
  • A deep understanding of growth channels and how to address problems to impact the bottom line
  • A shown history of successful data-heavy consumer product and CRM launches.
  • Experience defining metrics and making product and strategic decisions based on A/B testing and/or qualitative feedback
  • Deliver QoQ results from your roadmap, and orchestrate adoption of new technologies, processes, and tools across the organization
  • Proficiency in user experience, and user research methodologies

    Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
