Responsibilities:
What do our Business Development Advisors do?
Business Development Advisors are responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in an assigned region. They are the first point of contact with customers and are responsible for the achievement of maximum profitability and growth, in line with the company’s vision and values. In addition, they execute sales plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area via inbound-leads, lunch and learns, trade shows, industry events, etc.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Meet with prospective clients to secure their business. Execute appropriate follow-up client meetings to complete the sales process.
- Prepare for appointments by executing prospective client research, tailoring sales materials, and leveraging available resources.
- Meet client timelines and deliverables via close coordination with operation stakeholders.
- Secure prospective client appointments via participation in targeted prospecting and other selling strategies (i.e., marketing lead generation).
- Perform other related duties as assigned including participation in Company meetings, communication, and events.
- Develop a territory growth plan and provide updates on progress vs. plan via CRM.
What do you need?
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the public.
- Professional Office Environment
- Proficiency with Computers, MS Office, and other Software
- Must have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, CRM, and other sales programs, all in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Perfect English (Conversational Spanish is a plus)
- Strong business acumen with background in sales, relationship development and/or excellent customer experience skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentage areas, areas, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Must pass pre-employment background screen.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Available to travel as needed (50% or more)
- Sales experience of luxury products to Hotels or Hospitality and leisure industry is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle record search.
- Available to work Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30pm
Location: If the applicant does not live in the South-East Florida area, he/she must be willing to either relocate or travel extensively to the area for at least 3 months of training.
Salary Range: Base salary plus sales commission and Bonus which can exceed $100,000 based on results.
