KCH Transportation, a leading logistics and supply chain company with seven offices across the Southeast and Midwest, is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for building relationships and securing new business with potential clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who is passionate about the logistics industry and is looking to grow their career with a dynamic, customer-focused company.

Whether we're moving standard freight, specialized freight, intermodal, or drayage, our focus is always on exceptional service. We're looking for someone who is committed to building long-term relationships with our clients and helping us expand our business.


Responsibilities


  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful onboarding of new clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects
  • Identify opportunities for new product and service offerings
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to secure new business
  • Research and identify potential clients within the logistics industry
  • Attend industry events and conferences to prospect for new business


Requirements


  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills

SALARY: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per-year (OTE)
