Business Development Manager Jobs

Are you interested in working with the largest asset-based drayage provider in the US? We are seeking an experienced 3PL Sales/Business Development hunter to aggressively grow and manage prospective business internationally.

Essential Job Duties

• Proactively maintain relationships with each account; anticipate customer needs and develop sales strategies to capitalize on opportunities
• Develop customized solutions to meet customer logistical needs
• Manage the complete sales cycle process
• Deliver timely and accurate reporting on a regular basis
• Use creative and persistent methods to prospect and generate new business opportunities
• Increase volume with existing accounts through rigorous follow-up and monitoring
• Prepare rate proposals for prospective clients

Requirements

• Eager to learn and open to different methods of execution
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English in a professional manner
• Well versed in at least one TMS
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 15%
• 5+ years of sales/business development experience while employed at a 3PL Transportation Logistics company
• Half of all freight sales experience focused on LTL
• Strong typing skills and technically savvy
• Highly motivated, goal driven, and results oriented team player
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated success in achieving multi-million-dollar sales

Preferred Qualifications

• Pre-existing book of business that can be transferred to DM
• Salesforce or other CRM experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Logistics
