About This Role
To support our offline growth, we are seeking an accomplished, proactive, and data-driven Business Development Manager, whose main responsibility will be to establish partnerships with new and used car dealerships.
As a member of Lectron’s Business Development team, you will leverage your industry contacts and networking acumen to expand our offline footprint through persistent contact with dealerships.
About You
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience building and maintaining critical business partnerships, and relationships, and implementing business development strategies. Previous experience in the automotive industry and car dealership market is required.

You Will
- Develop EV charging-specific product knowledge to advise potential customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Develop data-driven goals and plans for the business development team, and create solid strategies to ensure the goals are met
- Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings in North America (e.g. SEMA and CES in Las Vegas)
- Research prospective customers for the Lectron product line in North America
- Build and oversee a business development team in the US
- Pursue leads, arrange meetings, and create quotes and proposals with potential clients
You Have
- Ability to communicate and work well with people at all levels
- Good command of Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Previous experience in the automotive industry and car dealership sales
- A Structured and Organized method to follow up with your customers and leads regularly
- Previously a senior-level employee at AutoNation HQ
- Business acumen, numerical sense, and an energetic, supportive, independent self-starter
- Minimum 5 yrs of experience in business development
