WIC Business Analyst
CDP, Inc. is searching for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team that provides maintenance
and enhancement support to the Multi State Consortium (MSC) WIC System. CDP is a premier provider ofdata management systems and services for the public health community. Our company develops,
maintains, and hosts software applications for state and federal government health agencies.
This position will document requirements from the Consortium on enhancement requests. They will assist with Tier II support by triaging bugs and providing solutions to customers promptly or by escalating thebug to the development team. The Business Analyst will support the development team by presenting theenhancement requests to the team and provide support by answering questions during the developmentprocess.
Responsibilities:
▪ Provide Subject Matter Expertise of WIC to the Consortium and team members.
▪ Facilitate and lead Joint Application Design (JAD) Sessions with MSC Workgroups to gather
requirements on system changes.
▪ Provide Tier II support by triaging bugs and providing solutions to customers promptly or by
escalating to the development team.
▪ Documents the details of support requests in the company’s ticketing system.
▪ Document requirements including Requirements Traceability Matrixes (RTM) for all change
requests.
▪ Work with the Product Owner, Technical Manager, and QA Director to estimate effort for
enhancement requests.
▪ Creating User Stories from enhancement requirements and presenting the User Stories to the
development team.
▪ Assist with monitoring and answering Tier II support tickets.
▪ Review updated Detailed Functional Design Documents (DFDD) and other system documents for
enhancements to the system.
▪ Follow established communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
▪ Bachelor’s degree with technology focus.
▪ 3 years of Experience with WIC Management Information Systems (MIS).
▪ 5 years of Business Analyst experience.
▪ Proficient with MS Office tools; Excel, Word, and Visio.
▪ Strong ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
▪ Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Preferred Requirements
▪ Technical experience translating client and product requirement into application requirements
and user stories.
▪ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
▪ Ability to work independently to complete tasks.
▪ Knowledge of MSC WIC.
▪ Experience with mobile application development.
▪ Knowledge for data warehouse concepts and development.
