Job Description
The Patient Support Program Quality Analyst is responsible for support functions throughout the quality of data initiatives and Adverse events reporting and reconciliation. The main responsibilities include continuous improvement project support. This role will require excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Role will require daily interaction across many functions within the Patient Services Program.


Roles And Responsibilities


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Supporting quality improvement reporting for data review, quality control checks, and/or interim and final analysis
  • Ability to analyze information and target trends
  • Provides monthly reconciliation for Adverse events with Global safety and the adverse events reporting vendor
  • Handle escalated and unresolved issues that may require deviation from standard procedures or require extensive research for resolution
  • Providing basic data coordination and data entry services for quality improvement projects supported by the department
  • Working knowledge of protocol(s), program patient services program
  • Providing administrative and technical support to quality improvement faculty for development of educational tools and training materials for quality improvement project and data management curricula
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and to resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency
  • Providing positive and effective customer service and contributes to teamwork within and between departments, divisions, programs and other organizations
  • Contributing to the development of databases and data management standards and serves as an internal resource on data coordination procedures
  • Reports AE/PC/OSF as required by program guidelines


Skills And Competencies


  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing data quality processes and systems
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements based on the findings from retroactive data error reports
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced working environment
  • Establish and maintain data quality standards, guidelines, and policies
  • Monitor the impact of enhancements on data quality and assess their effectiveness
  • Analyze the root causes of data errors and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to determine appropriate corrective actions


Education, Experience And Qualifications


  • Preferred experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related role
  • Knowledge of basic data management software
  • Critical attention to detail and accuracy
  • Bachelor's degree in the health sciences, mathematics or related field with basic knowledge of medical, mathematical and technical principles
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-driven with proven ability to work independently
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office and Internet experience
