Job Responsibilities


  • Utilize web-based accreditation platforms for compliance
  • Serve as a resource expert for CARF and/or TJC standards and their interpretation
  • Conduct gap analysis and develop project plans to address gaps
  • Review cases selected for audits and provide coaching to staff
  • Educate and influence others to understand and commit to the accreditation process
  • Interact with accreditation agencies and regulatory bodies
  • Collaborate with business partners to develop and implement action plans for improvement
  • Facilitate and attend onsite accreditation surveys and monitoring visits
  • Perform mock audits and communicate findings to business leads
  • Develop and deliver training on accreditation standards as needed
  • Lead meetings to prepare for accreditations and client audits
  • Identify business leads and Subject Matter Experts for audits and assessments
  • Collaborate with Operations, Directors, and other business segments to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Complete online applications, attestations, and notifications for organizational changes
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of Quality Improvement Projects
  • Develop or update accreditation tools, program descriptions, and evaluations
  • Provide guidance to Operations and ensure completion of program documents and reporting
  • Organize and support Operations staff for site visits and audits
  • Provide ad hoc consulting on accreditation-related matters
  • Proactively identify and address accreditation risks and barriers
  • Collect and evaluate supportive evidence for accreditation submissions
  • Meet required timelines for accreditation activities
  • Communicate changes to standards to the accredited area and update preparedness plan accordingly


Required Qualifications


  • 2+ years of experience in a Behavioral Health setting with accreditation and regulatory responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in project management, quality management, and process improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed


Preferred Qualifications


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Leadership experience
  • Undergraduate degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Knowledge of behavioral/mental health and regulatory requirements
  • Background in Behavioral Health, such as LPC, LMHC, or CEDS


Additional Information


  • Telecommuting is available for this role, with the requirement of a dedicated work area and secure document handling.
  • Salary range for specific states is $67,800 to $133,100, with eligibility for comprehensive benefits and incentives.
  • This position involves the use of Personal Health Information (PHI).
