Billing Account Admin Jobs

Responsibilities:

• Secure deferral and write-off approvals for various inventory items
• Preparation of compensation and expense data for monthly and quarterly fee applications
• Facilitate the accounts payable, billing and collections functions for the local office
• Collaborate with the centralized accounts payable, billing and collections teams
• Help monitor all aspects of billing and serves as a liaison between the assigned billing clients and the Billing group
• Handle various aspects of BSR tracking, priority invoice preparation and revision
• Ensure the timely entry of timesheets by local timekeepers
• Monitor any changes or updates to local regulations and communicate same to the centralized teams
• Assist with local tax and audit preparations
• Communicate with timekeepers regarding time entries that do not comply with UST guidelines and track responses
• Monitor the unbilled and receivable inventories for the local office

Required Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and methods
• Fundamental proficiency in MS Word and MS Outlook
• Advanced proficiency in windows- and web-based accounting programs (Elite preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel;
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or related field
• 3+ years of law firm & legal billing experience (required)
• 5 years of general accounting experience

Compensation: $78,000-$111,000
