What we’re looking for: A Senior Account Supervisor for digitally focused corporate reputation campaigns in the health sector. This role is responsible for bringing innovative, creative thinking to web and social content strategy as well as managing owned/earned/paid digital content for some of the most influential clients in our Health portfolio.
What you bring to the table: The ideal candidate has passion for corporate storytelling across digital channels and expertise in the healthcare industry. This includes experience developing strategy, messaging and digital content recommendations that advance brand goals through technical and nontechnical stories in a highly regulated environment. It is also key for this person to be adept at analyzing performance for course corrections and improvement as needed.

Leverage insights from data-driven tools to help set clear and engaging digital campaigns that resonate with corporate audiences and deliver a positive impact on brand image.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee early career staff’s work products to ensure quality and consistency and actively helps mentor, coach and support team members
- Collaborate on cross-functional/multi-disciplinary teams
- Possesses a strong understanding of MSL’s positioning and goals; emulates behaviors consistent with MSL’s values
- Demonstrate responsibility for deliverables and taking on a project through to completion
- Demonstrate understanding of core financial constructs including revenue, profitability, pricing structures, budgeting and forecasting with an active role in financial management of accounts and projects
- Lead day to day social media storytelling on owned channels, combining paid and organic execution, adhering to client’s standards, practices and requirements
- Serve as quality control for social media activities, working closely with early career staff and cross-functional experts
- Build out best practices relevant to the account and digital storytelling as a whole (e.g., creating defined audiences, improving benchmarking, KPIs and goal setting, offering up key learnings)
- Helps develop strategic and tactical annual PR plans – inclusive of goals, objectives, strategies and tactics – and plays an integral role in the research, planning and execution of PR programs and campaigns
- Take on measurement, reporting and analysis as a key component of the workflow and a tool for continuous improvement and efficiency
- Persuasively communicate web/social/ad strategy through PowerPoint decks
- Maintain a working knowledge of the client’s work with us, their preferences, priorities and how they operate – and seeking out opportunities for additional “wins”
- Experience and/or passion for communications support LGBTQ+ communities and communities of color is a plus
- Contribute to new business process, including identifying new business opportunities and organic growth for existing clients/accounts
Requirements/Skills:
- Ability to mentor, coach and support junior team members and direct reports
- Experience and willingness to build advanced knowledge of core digital platforms and clients’ industry
- Demonstrated ability to delegate tactical assignments and accurately judge and edit work of others
- Delegates effectively, setting clear expectations and deadlines and providing needed resources for project completion
- At least 7+ years of professional experience with in corporate and/or digital communications serving pharma, biopharma or biotech clients and/or organizations is required; knowledge of and leadership across a wide breadth of communications disciplines a plus
- Ability to own and juggle multiple large projects simultaneously as well as manage small to medium size teams
Compensation Range: $91,000-$154,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k and paid time off.
